HI, I’M JEANNE.
I believe therapy is about finding our way back to ourselves.
People are often far more intuitive and wise than they realize. Sometimes we just need support to reconnect with that inner knowing.
While therapy can be a place for deep and tender work, I also believe in balancing it with moments of lightness. I find joy in art and music (though I can’t carry a tune or remember lyrics if my life depended on it), in watching children discover something new for the first time, and in the stillness of nature. I grew up in South Louisiana, where quiet mornings on the bayou taught me to notice the beauty in simple things. Over time, I’ve learned to treasure the things that can’t be bought: presence, kindness, laughter, and connection. These simple moments remind me of what really sustains us, both in life and in therapy.
I also think often about the pressure we face in today’s world, especially the way social media floods us with advice and opinions. While outside voices can sometimes be helpful, they can also make it difficult to hear our own inner wisdom. I don’t see myself as another expert adding to that noise — instead, I see therapy as a space where we can quiet the chatter and help you reconnect with your own inner resource of wisdom and guidance.
“ A recipe has no soul. You, as the cook, must bring soul to the recipe.”
- Thomas Keller
I’m trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and have advanced training in perinatal and reproductive mental health. Before becoming a therapist, I earned a master’s degree in structural engineering, where I studied how patterns in nature could inspire design. That curiosity about structure and connection now guides my work with clients as we explore the patterns that shape their inner world. I also trained as a doula, and I’m especially passionate about supporting new parents who may be navigating big transitions without the closeness of a built-in village.
Outside of therapy, I’m happiest in the kitchen, usually with a stack of cookbooks nearby and a menu idea scribbled on scrap paper. Cooking and sharing food with friends and family is one of the ways I stay grounded, connected, and playful in daily life.

I don’t see myself as another expert adding to the noise. I see therapy as a space to reconnect with your own wisdom.
Less noise. More you.
If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. You can reach out here to schedule a first session.
